Lexie is a 25 year old mother. She has a 3 year old son named Jason. She is also a career woman. She divorced the year her son was born. She has a babysitter that she trusts very much. Her son took a liking to her right away. She is 20 years old and is working her way through college.

She uses the money from the babysitting jobs to help pay her tuition. Until recently, Lexie has never experienced any problems with the babysitter. She noticed that lately, her son was not too enthusiastic when the sitter arrived. In fact, on several occasions he would burst into tears and tried to go to work with her.

At first, she thought it was just a phase he was going through. Then it started to happen more often. She began to wonder what was wrong. The babysitter and a strange man were passed out on the couch. Jason was sitting in the middle of the floor crying. She scooped Jason up and woke the babysitter. The babysitter seemed to be in a daze. The man also woke up. It turns out the babysitter was bringing her boyfriend to the house when Lexie left for work.

They would have a small party and be done by the time Lexie came home from work. While they were partying, they completely ignored the needs of little Jason.
